The squads for the clash between the Waratahs and the Rebels at Allianz Stadium on Friday night have been confirmed, and both sides will be going in with two changes to their teams.
The Waratahs will keep the same backline as their round 5 game with the Brumbies, but up front no.8 Wycliff Palu drops to the bench in place of Will Skelton, who will come into the lock position. This means Jaques Potgeiter will move to the blindside flank, while captain Dave Dennis moves across to fill the void at no.8. Sekope Kepu comes into the team at loosehead prop to replace Benn Robinson, who has also gone to the bench.
The Rebels have been forced to make two changes to their starting fifteen, with fullback Jason Woodward missing due to a knee injury he suffered against the Crusaders. Angus Roberts will come into the team as his replacement and will slot straight into the no.15 jersey. Japanese recruit Male Sau will fill the spot on the bench for his first appearance in Rebels colours. Laurie Weeks suffered a concussion last weekend, and will be replaced by Paul Alo-Emile at tighthead prop, while Cruze Ah-Nau comes in to get a run off the bench.
